Unregulated Emissions from Natural Gas Taxi Based on IVE Model

چکیده

Emissions from motor vehicles have gained the attention of government agencies. To alleviate air pollution and reduce petroleum demand in China, policy “oil to gas” was vigorously carried out. Qingdao began promote use natural gas (NGVs) 2003. By end 2016, there were 9460 (NG) taxis Qingdao, which accounted for 80% total taxis. An understanding implementation emission reductions is required. Experiments obtain taxi driving conditions local parameters investigated an international vehicle emissions (IVE) localization model established. Combined with mass analysis system (VMAS) experiments, IVE amended included pollutant factors. The result indicates that annual carbon monoxide (CO) actual are 6411.87 t, carbureted hydrogen (HC) 124.85 nitrogen oxide (NOx) 1397.44 t particulate matter (PM) 8.9 t. When running on pure gas, CO, HC, NOx PM 4942.3 48.15 1496.01 5.13 respectively. Unregulated formaldehydes, benzene, acetaldehyde, 1,3-butadience 65.99 4.68 1.04 8.83 above unregulated 12.11 1.27 1.5 0.02

mortality forecasting based on lee-carter model

over the past decades a number of approaches have been applied for forecasting mortality. in 1992, a new method for long-run forecast of the level and age pattern of mortality was published by lee and carter. this method was welcomed by many authors so it was extended through a wider class of generalized, parametric and nonlinear model. this model represents one of the most influential recent d...

Understanding Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Unconventional Natural Gas Production

Natural gas comprises almost one-fourth of all energy used in the U.S. New technologies, sometimes referred to as “unconventional” have enabled the production of more natural gas and have expanded domestic energy reserves. Natural gas is generally recognized as a clean-burning fuel source, producing less greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions per quantity of energy consumed than either coal or oil. How...

on-road vehicle emissions forecast using ive simulation model

during the recent decades, rapid urbanization growth has led to even faster growth of motorvehicles and especially in large cities. hence, evaluation of the actual level of traffic emissions has gained more interest. this paper, for the first time, presents a bottom-up approach for evaluation of vehicular emissions in tehran- the capital of iran- using the international vehicle emission (ive) m...

Regulated and unregulated emissions from modern 2010 emissions-compliant heavy-duty on-highway diesel engines

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) established strict regulations for highway diesel engine exhaust emissions of particulate matter (PM) and nitrogen oxides (NOx) to aid in meeting the National Ambient Air Quality Standards. The emission standards were phased in with stringent standards for 2007 model year (MY) heavy-duty engines (HDEs), and even more stringent NOX standards for 201...

Estimate of methane emissions from the U.S. natural gas industry.

Global methane emissions from the fossil fuel industries have been poorly quantified and, in many cases, emissions are not well-known even at the country level. Historically, methane emissions from the U.S. gas industry have been based on sparse data, incorrect assumptions, or both. As a result, the estimate of the contribution these emissions make to the global methane inventory could be inacc...
